June 19, 2018

Video footage of the making of the new "Peace Sells" stage costume for MEGADETH's longtime mascot Vic Rattlehead can be seen in two parts below.

Vic Rattlehead has appeared on a number of MEGADETH albums as well as a myriad of band merchandise.

In 2018, MEGADETH is celebrating its 35th anniversary all year long, with special releases, exclusive merchandise items, and one-of-a-kind events and opportunities for fans worldwide.

The band is tentatively scheduled to enter the studio before the end of the year to begin recording its new album for a 2019 release.

2016's "Dystopia" was MEGADETH's first album with guitarist Kiko Loureiro, who was previously best known for his work with ANGRA.

The 2018 deluxe reissue of MEGADETH's classic debut album, "Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!" was released on June 8 via Century Media and Legacy Recordings. "Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good - The Final Kill" features the original album remixed by veteran metal mixer Mark Lewis (WHITECHAPEL) and remastered by Ted Jensen.
